28+ Best Miami Teen Activities: Beaches, Adventure & Family Fun (2026 Guide)
Miami and Miami Beach have a reputation for being spring break central for college students, but this part of Florida is also a great family vacation destination — especially if you’re traveling with teens and tweens.
I’ve lived in Miami-Dade County for nearly 10 years, and I’m constantly taking my godsons (who are all in high school) around the city to experience all the different fun things for teens to do in Miami. Whether you’re planning a weeklong adventure in Florida or a short Miami weekend getaway, the sheer number of things you can do in the city — ranging from easy beach days and Jet Ski rides to trampoline parks and go-kart racing — makes it a great vacation spot for kids ages 11-17.
